Emma Charow

Assistant Teacher

Lyndon State College, BA

Emma joined the Seaport Academy staff part time in 2021 teaching art electives and has officially joined the staff full time for the 2023-24 school year as an Assistant Teacher. She received her bachelor’s in visual communications with a minor in fine arts in 2018 and immediately went into teaching at an independent day and dorm school in Northern Vermont.

While there, she specialized in fashion design and was very active in the residential life program. She worked as a proctor and eventually dorm head in a building that housed 28 boys from around the world.

Although the arts are her first love, she has now expanded her work to include the Seaport Transitions Program in addition to electives. She is excited to be working with everyone at Seaport Academy.
