Seaport Academy promises a quick response to inquiries from special education professionals, therapists, guardians and advocates. If you need immediate answers or you have pressing questions, please call us at 617.241.3871.
The Students We Serve
At Seaport Academy, we specifically focus on the needs of boys and young men (Grades 8-12) who are struggling with severe learning or emotional issues. Students who have not been able to be successful in a traditional school environment and could benefit from more experiential or project-based learning that build capacities for collaboration with others may thrive at Seaport Academy.
In making admission decisions, we consider how each student might participate in and contribute to the Seaport community. Not all students are a good fit for Seaport's small program, but we will work closely with team members to help families make the best decisions.

Upcoming Admission Events
Seaport hosts several small open houses and school visit events throughout the year specifically for special education professionals. Please see our calendar for our schedule, or sign up to receive email notifications of our next open house. Come meet other special education professionals, hear about Seaport's experiential program, and enjoy our ocean views.
We also encourage special education professionals to join the New England Special Education Professionals Network on Facebook. This group is sponsored by Schools for Children, Inc. and aims to offer a unique forum for educators and those who work with students with learning challenges to connect and share resources and ideas.
